About Myself

I am Samannoy Bhattacharjee, a 16-year old entity currently based in West Bengal, India. I have been using computers since the age of 4, thanks to my parents. I remember using proprietary Operating Systems back then.

I had switched to Debian GNU/Linux at the age of 12. That was the first Linux distribution I ever used. Despite using arch, I still find time to appreciate Debian's package stability and robustness.

Presently I use a MSI Pro MP2412 monitor - single HDMI port, a PowerX motherboard - with an Intel i5-8th gen six cores, an Intel UHD Integrated CoffeeLake GPU along with 16 Gigabytes of DDR4 RAM, a 256 Gigabyte HP Solid-State Drive and another 120 Gigabyte ADATA-SU650 Solid-State Drive.

I use Arch GNU/Linux. My display manager is Sway - a Wayland based Tiling WM. Other tools I use include but are not limited to: nano, tmux, swaync, ironbar, flameshot, wf-recorder, PCMan FM, GNU IceCat, etc.

I consider this as one of the best moments of my life - A direct interaction with the chief GNUisance, a.k.a Dr. Richard Matthew Stallman. I am, in general, very much inspired from him, his ideals - the Free Software Movement and the GNU Project - in different aspects. The thread can be downloaded by clicking here.
